The 3D Map: 3 different layers, 6 to 15 mm thick (0.23'' - 0.47''); The 2D Map: 1 layer (5 to 6mm thick (0.2'' - 0.24'')

The Wooden Maps are painted with beige-brown wood dye and all the borders and names of the countries are engraved on the surface. The Colored Maps are dyed with brighter colors (check out all the designs available!). All geographical names, pictures (for Kid's Maps) rivers and lakes are printed.

Map includes almost all the countries and islands, except all those super small ones. Please click here to see the full list. Please pay attention this Map is not a geographical one, it's a decoratioin piece, some deviations vs. true geography are possible, though.

Absolutely! We have a legal patent and all the documents for our Wooden Maps. And we provide lifetime warranty on all the Maps, the document is included in the box.

Most our Maps come with special double-sided tape that is strong enough to hold the Map pieces on the wall (but doesn’t stick to wallpaper!) The LED Maps are too heavy for the sticky tape, so you will get remote mounts and dowels to attach yours to the wall (these have no issues with wallpaper though :D)

If you want to get it off your wall (hope it’s not because you don’t like it anymore) — you will need a hairdryer. Direct the airflow between a Map piece and the wall, wait a bit and remove them one by one. To reinstall the Map you will need to buy more sticky tape, the old one won’t work. There're not particular rules. There are some recommendations, though: please avoid putting the Map in damp areas or in direct sunlight along with applying abrasive substances into its surface.

You need to make the following number of holes: for sizes L/XL - 25 holes, for size XXL - 45 holes.
